Is there some way of exporting a list of Users to CSV or XLS ? For example the business has 14 x websites and various departments, developers and contractors have access at various access levels to a one or more of the websites. At the top of the tree is our Web Team which has access to all. I find it time consuming to report on who has what access to which website. Currently we have 30 x Users but it increases/decreases as time goes by (depending on new websites and projects, etc). Users may come and go.

Hi John,

It looks like this “trick” doesn’t work anymore unfortunately. Probably you need to use two Google accounts in that case and/or remove yourself from one or more accounts.

Also, GA360 users have sometimes more band width, but that’s a different story.

Best,
Paul

This to avoid getting stuck at the maximum (100) of GA accounts to create under a single Google login.”

could you explain how to do this in more detail? This is what I have done and I am stuck at the 100 limit.

Hi Tejas,

I understand your struggles. In this case you might want to look into these options:
https://www.tatvic.com/tatvic-labs/user-management-tool/
https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/config/mgmt/v3/user-management

Thanks for your tips. This is an excellent article on managing user permissions in Google Analytics.

We have more than five property (webiste) set up in Google Analytics. Each property has many users assigned a different level of access.

After auditing list of users, our client has requested to remove a list of users from all property. The list of users is more than 20 common cross all property. It is a tedious task to remove each user to remove from the individual property.

Is there any way I can remove all those 20 plus users from all different property without doing manual work or a minimum manual work?

Thanks
Tejas

Hi Tania,

Unfortunately, this is impossible in Google Analytics.
You could create a report in Google Data Studio that contains only that data though.

Best,
Paul

Is there a way to give someone access to all but the ecommerce and goal reports?
I don’t think there is but I just want to double check before I recommend a solution to client.
Thanks
Tania
