I agree with your feedback about how it can take time to absorb the content and apply it.

I took a handful of their courses over a 6 month period and I found myself going back to the content on a daily/weekly basis to remind myself of different techniques and ideas when I was applying them.

The content is good, but there is no substitute for putting it in practice. I highly recommend taking the course if you have a project that you can apply the learning to.
