Thanks for your comment Jacob! :-)
Yeah, that would be a nice one too.

“Thresholds are applied to prevent anyone viewing a report from inferring the demographics or interests of individual users. When a report contains Age, Gender, or Interest Category (as a primary or secondary dimension, or as part of an applied segment), a threshold may be applied and some data may be withheld from the report. For example, if there are fewer than N instances of Gender=male in a report, then data for the male value may be withheld.

If a threshold has been applied to a report, you will see a notice below the report title.”

In short, the smaller the sample, the higher the chances a threshold will be applied.

Great explanation on the demo account, I have (another) small question though: when I segment on US > age 25-34, it’s not possible to see data for the Product Performance as “some data was removed when a treshold was applied”. Do you know why Google filtered this?

Love that the GMS has in some respects a substandard GA setup. I think the best way to learn is from your mistakes, they stay with you a lot longer!!

Thanks for your comment Vlad. It’s true that “search.yahoo.com” appears as a referral. But since it accounts for less than 10 sessions in four months time it’s not such a big deal. :-)

So “search.yahoo.com” appears as a referral in Source/Medium reports.
