Hi Diana,
Sounds promising, but so far never heard about them. Definitely worth trying signing up for a free account.
Best,
Paul

Hey Paul came across another one of that sort that’s worth looking into – these guys seem to be doing what Michelle seems to be trying to find – http://www.millimetric.ai – have you heard about them at all?

Thanks for your comment Michelle! I think there is not such a tool yet that delivers great performance here (as far as I am aware of).
There are some automated tools on the market (like this one: https://needlanalytics.com/), but I don’t think they help you accomplish exactly what you are looking for.
“Analytics Intelligence” can be handy, but definitely is not there yet.

I wanted to reach out and ask if you’ve heard of or experienced any tools that automate the alerts process, so I guess, think of it as Anomaly Detection with ML but for Google Analytics Metrics? So essentially you would be alerted when there is anomalous behaviour in your metrics? But the rules are set automatically because it learns what “normal” and what’s not – I know this is specific but been scouring the internet but haven’t really found something.. just wanted to ask your expertise.
Best,
Michelle

Hi Mikael,
One way to overcome this is by using a generic (e.g. analytics@….) email address when setting up these custom alerts. The company can change the password when someone leaves the company. Would that be an option?

The problem that you’re not able to share the alerts is if I set up alerts and then leave the company. No one can manage them.

Hi Mikael,
Withing GA itself this is not possible as far as I know. This might be because you can add email addresses and phone numbers to an alert, which could cause issues when you share them with other logins/properties. I do agree sharing the basic Custom Alerts setup would be useful!

Is it possible to share the alerts to another login and property?
