Hi Felix,

Yeah, this sounds like a real challenge. Usually I experiment with the Analytics API and try different ways of getting the data out of GA without using view filters (last resort).

Hi Paul, thank for your fast response, really appreciate.

I know the devices are possible but the problem is with the OS. I’ve tried your way but I still have the Cost empty, I think the only solution is to create view filters but with this solution, I will lose the previews data.

This makes me angry cause we did not contemplate this at the experiment set up so probably my experiment will be not significant.

Hi Felix,

Thanks for your comment. :-) Have you tried creating a custom report with all metrics and dimensions that you need?
You could also add a filter to only look at certain devices.

I am still stuck in how to know the spend and goals conversion split by the operative system.

What I would like to know is the spend and goal conversions only for Android devices in a specific campaign.

I’ve created a GA Android Segment, but the cost, clicks, and CPC are blank.

Do you think there is a way to know this or get as close as possible?

Many thanks ;)
Felix

Have you ever bulk created audience lists through gSheet, API or other? I find audience list creation so frustrating, especially when it comes to same criteria and different membership duration (e.g. cart abandoners 1/7/14/30/90/60/etc days). thanks!

Hi Marko,

Thanks for your comment! :-)
Yeah, it’s actually quite easy for (AdWords) keywords. For organic keywords this doesn’t work.

Three ways:
– Go to “Assisted Conversions” overview and change “Primary Dimension” to Keyword (under Other).
– Go to “Assisted Conversions” overview, click on “Source/Medium”, click on “google / cpc” and change “Primary Dimension” to Keyword (under Other).

Most probably you can also leverage tools like Supermetrics to automatically query for the MCF dimensions and metrics that you need.

Hope this helps!
Paul

great article with good advice, as usual ;)
Is there a way in Google analytics, to see assisted conversion on keyword (search query) level? I would like to see in Analytics which keywords are assisting conversions.
Thanks!
Marko
